SJE Constructions specialises in residential and commercial construction throughout Tasmania. We have over 40 years experience in the Tasmanian construction industry.
Renovations, Extensions, New Builds, Insurance/Damage repair works, Kitchens, Bathrooms, Sheds, Decks/Verandahs, Inside or Out, Any room or area on your property that needs some assistance or even just updating.

What information do I need to provide you with for a competitive quote?

The more information you can supply the better equiped we will be to quote for you. -A detailed description of what you are wanting -Information about your site or location -Plans and Drawings if you have them -Your ideal timeline and any special requirements -Photos are fantastic. Of the area you want quoted, of what you are aiming for and even the fittings and fixtures you want to use or like the look of. -Your budget and if you have finance organised. This will allow us to understand your constraints and tailor your quote accordingly.

Do you offer a guarantee on the work that you carry out?

At SJE Constructions we believe in taking fear away from our clients. So much so that we offer 2 seperate guarantees. Fixed Price Guarantee: Ever heard of the nasty stories where clients get stung by builders at the end of the project with many unforseen extras? Not SJE Constructions. We are so confident in our pricing structure that we can offer a fixed price guarantee. Workmanship Guarantee: We know the fear of having a builder you can't rely on. The stories are rampant and we hear them daily. Which is why we not only finish your job and ensure you are completely satisfied, but we will come back and physically see you 12 months over handover.

Do you specialise in any work in particular?

We specialise in project managing works with full control over our sub contractors to ensure your projects are completed to your satisfaction and on time. If there is anything we cannot do we will be able to refer you to a team that can be of assitance.

How long have you been in the business?

We have proudly been activly in the Tasmanian construction industry for over 40 years. With many decades of management and hands on experience, we endevour to surpass all expectations not only in regard to workmanship but also to the all over experience for our clients. During that time we have covered commercial and residential building throughout Tasmania. From building nursing homes, to regularly updating schools, building some amazing new buildings and renovating some charming heritage classics to bring them up to modern times. Not only has it given us a wealth of experience in all aspects of building and construction, It has also allowed us to see all the best locations Tasmania has to offer and meet the most amzing people.

Is your pricing competitive?

Yes and not only are we competitive we will also happily provide cost breakdowns and trades breakdowns if required.

What are the terms of payment?

For larger projects we requirement payment in stages. We will work through this with you as part of contract negotiations. For smaller jobs we will issue you an invoice through xero. All invoices are payable within 10 days.

What happens if there is an emergency relating to my job that requires immediate attention?

We have an exceptional team that are contactable after hours if required. When we liaise with you to get your project started we will supply you with contacts for the team members managing your project.
